my dad died in august and I got his fire hydrent fountian and I think the pump is dead
sry bout ur dad…….litle giant pumps are still around.. just remove the old 1 and bring it to a plumbing supply..the will tell you if u can just put an impeller in it or to replace the whole pump…lowes and home depot sell crap for pumps .. plastic pieces of junk taiwan or some where

I got a little annoyed and decided to rebuild my “ladder” before it got too late, and kept the holes really small and pretty spaced out. Basically nine holes per “rung” and all about half the size they were before. Success! Great agitation with no air problems even on press fits! What’s even better is this lattice will fit into my new tank which I will be sourcing tomorrow. I grew very concerned with the rubbermaid. It was only about 5/8ths full and was bowing BADLY. I know some people support them with boxes but it still made me nervous enough to come up with a new tank idea.
