My Giant Danios, well thats what the store called them, have been staying in 1 spot on some days. it’s not all the time, and its not all of them at once either. They swim around in like a 2 inch area back and forth when they do. I am going to do a water change in a few days. I have tested my water, everything is OK, but my pH is a little high.(7.6) I have had these fish for 1 month, is this normal? What can I do? I have some other info. I added aquarium salt, but they were doing this before I added aquarium salt. I have a air pump and filter, and I don’t need a heater right now, because my tank lucky stays at 75 degrees feirinheit. I have no plants, but I am planning to buy some. If you need any more info ask. Again, they don’t do this all the time but sometimes they do.
forgot to mention, I have added pH down to lower the pH. I have been doing this for a while.
my tank is 10 gallons. I have 3. Ph down seemed to lower the pH a little.
what size is the tank?
PH needs to be stable that PH down stuff is just a waste of money
I will be honest when i started breeding angel fish i had problems with my PH and whilst the PH is slightly higher than it should be its stable!
Giant Danio need PH to be pH 6.0-7.0 7.6 is not that much out its a little bit high but is it stable that is the question!
