warning: the method shown ONLY works in mild to moderate winds ! doing this in strong winds might be dangerous to your hands and might also tear out the anchor and hurt other people !
release one VPC bridle of your parked PL Arc Kite from the anchor, and hold it wide into the air using both hands on the bridle. that way you can adjust the angle of attack (AoA). in the beginning, if the kite is half empty, choose a lower AoA, and make short periods of higher AoA. this will turn the air inlet valves more into the wind. give it some seconds, and the kite will be completely filled through the inlet valves.
now you can make a save taco launch that will work perfectly, as the kite is completely filled and will automatically rise to the zenit (see video “taco launch from anchor”)
Kite: PL Scorpion 13 sqm
Wind: 8, gusting to 12 knots
remember to just let go in case a gust strikes.
Duration : 0:1:3

Have 75,000 btu boiler, cast iron, with 1" supply and return. Using with a 79 gallon indirect, hot water heater /storage tank. Co. says flow rate for coil is 5gpm . They do not list pressure loss at coil. I am using 1" heat pex for supply and return to HWH. About 12′. What circulator should I use, please? Such as what size, series, Taco,Grundfos, Wilo ? Thanks!………………….
For such a light duty any half HP hot water centrifugal pump should work.

I have a taco circular pump that has terminals for a red and white wire from my furnace / thermostat., it will turn the pump on and off as the thermostat calls for heat. I tested it and it works well with 1 furnace. I have 2 furnaces / thermostats that I would like to hook to the one pump so the pump will only come on when either furnace calls for heat. I am thinking I may need another part to do this. Not sure if I can tie all the wires together from the 2 furnaces into the pump without having an issue or having both furnaces running at the same time any time one furnace calls for heat. Does anyone know what part I need and where I can purchase this part if I need one so that the pump will start when either furnace calls for heat?
Your best bet would be to get a second pump. Connect one to each furnace. This way they are totally independent of each other and can run when necessary.
