sry bout ur dad…….litle giant pumps are still around.. just remove the old 1 and bring it to a plumbing supply..the will tell you if u can just put an impeller in it or to replace the whole pump…lowes and home depot sell crap for pumps .. plastic pieces of junk taiwan or some where

I saw this system …
I saw this system at lowes but was concerned about the complexity and time it would take to assembly it myself. This video is great, it makes me want to go out and buy one now! I also like the battery assembly video, makes everything simple!

Yea me and my dad …
Yea me and my dad had to go inside and free the vavles up in it..we started on it yesterday by putting water in it to swell the leathers up..had to repack the stuffing box and thats all

ive never repacked …
ive never repacked the stuffing boxes on my pumps, i wouldent even know whats involved. so i generally dont worry about that unless i was going to use the pump for something.

What year was this unit made? I’ve heard of 10 and 12 SEER units, but I have never seen an 11 SEER.

This is the SAME …
This is the SAME model I have! Installed 9/04! 1375 sq ft single story home. It’s 5.5 years old. In that time, the capacitor has went out 250 dollars….the coolant tube developed a leak three months later…550 repair, and now the compressor went out 994 labor charge. Preventative maintenance was also done twice yearly. I’m re thinking the PM since it doesn’t seem to be helping.
