The Great Sump Pump Near-Disaster of 2010

We were settling down for the night, shutting the house down when I noticed the Sump Pump… not working. I tore apart our sump pit (which had also been turned into a radon mitigation system, hence all the mess…) and… fixed it.
oh the joys of home ownership.
